I couldn't resist putting up a few of the pictures from our trip.  It may be awhile before I get that highlight video done so I had better document this now.  Thank you Sarah, for all of the lovely pictures.

Thank you MasterCard for letting me rip off your creative idea.  My sister reminded me last night that it has been a very long time since updating the blog.  My dear blog friends, my intentions are good.  I promise.  By the way, how many blog friends to I have anyway?  I feel like there are about 10 people that read this (5 of you leave comments).  So if you are out there, give me a shout out.  I'd like to have an idea of the audience that I am writing for.  Actually, that is hogwash.  I just want to know if you are reading.  The intention of this blog was truly a baby book for Jake and to keep everyone updated on our lives...which I do.  But I have found it is also a bit of a creative outlet for myself.  And case in point...this particular post isn't even about Jake!  I also like to ramble about things...and what better way to do it then on a medium that people have a choice of reading!  So come on...say hello and make me feel loved today.

Okay, back to the point.  We had a fun Sinclair family vacation a couple of weeks back at Hidden Haven resort near Grand Rapids, MN.  I took my HD video gadget and took a lot of video throughout the week.  After seeing a highlight video that one of my friends made I thought that would be a great way to capture the week.  Problem one...my computer can't read the video when I download it.  I think our computer is too old to handle the high tech stuff.  Next problem...we have no space left.  Seriously, I keep getting these pop up messages about low disc space.  Getting 3+ years worth of pictures onto a backup drive might be a really good idea to start.  Can you even imagine where we would put these if we had to develop them like the old days!  The third problem...doing new things on the computer is not my strong suit.  Scott has to be the one to help me format the video.  And making a highlight video is definitely not one of his highest priorities these days while he is busy saving the world.  It will get done though...eventually.

Another side note...Scott suggested that I might like a Mac instead of a PC in the case that we do get a new computer.  Thoughts?

I must go pack now as we are headed up to Lake Julia for the weekend.

Adios para ahora.
