So much fun!

Jacob spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Sinclair.  After coming off of a 10 day trip to Maine, Grandma and Grandpa graciously offered to take Jacob for the weekend.  Hopefully their bags are finally unpacked because I know they didn't get anything done over the weekend!  Jacob had a blast.  He slept great (I was a little worried he would wake Grandma and Grandpa with leg aches), drove the combine, and went trick or treating with Noah and Hayden.  When I asked him what his favorite part of the weekend was he said "Toys" (he really likes their selection of trucks and trains) and getting candy with Noah and Hayden.  (Of course).  He is still talking about his adventures and can't wait to see them again!

Big and little

Jake does a great job helping Nathan practice tummy time.

This doesn't happen very often.  Both boys...completely entertained.  Not by me.  Wanted to capture it.

Hair color today?  Looking a light shade of red.

Lounging.

Jacob's first field trip

Very excited about riding the school bus.

Welcome to our humble abode.

This amazing apple pie, along with a bottle of champagne was given to us by one of our new neighbors.

Big trees = lots of leaves.

Loves to rake.

Happy because he doesn't have to rake?

Need more room.
Our new to us, old house is starting to feel like home.  We've got most of the boxes unpacked, things put away (or at least in a temporary spot) and can actually walk around without stumbling on something.  Except maybe a rogue lego truck.  Our computer is up and running and the boys are napping (hence the blog post).  We have a lovely neighborhood, giant trees, and plenty of projects to keep us busy for at least a year.  Or twenty.

One set of neighbors consists of two young boys, 3 years and 6 mos.  Sound similar to someone else you know?  They are already best buds.  We're still getting used to the creaks and noises of the house and training ourselves to open up the right cupboards for what we need.  The cats are still along for yet another move although I suspect this will be their last.  They are both still in good health but we aren't going anywhere for a long long time.

In the midst of our move we've been busy trying to keep up with normal everyday life.  Jacob started his first year of pre-school and is loving it.  He is there Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  Nathan just had his four month check up and is 19 lbs.  Yes.  The incredible thing is that not only is he in the high 90th percentile for weight, but for length as well.

I will be posting pictures of the inside of the house, but there are a few more finishing touches that have to be done before I post before and after photos.  You are welcome to see the work in progress if you happen to be in the neighborhood!

Last but not least, thank you to Doug, Lin, Mark, Sue, Mike, Sarah, Tom, Sarah, Chad, Tony, Cindy and Larry for your time and energy.  The amount of work that you have put into helping us has not gone unnoticed and is truly truly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.  We couldn't have done it without you.  Thank you!

We're off to enjoy this crisp fall day.  One of my favorites.
