Good stuff, Maynard!

Do you remember the Malt-O-Meal commercial from the 80's? I don't think Jacob would even consider sharing with a bear. He eats his entire bowl and usually asks for more. This kid cracks me up.

Jacob is a very bouncy fella

I took Jacob to the local gymnastic center which opens once a month for our MOMS Club. From the time we walked in until we left an hour later he literally didn't stop moving. Unfortunately for me, he wanted to go in the foam pit at least 5 times. If you've never been in one I will just tell you they are extremely hard to get out of. Getting out of there is a workout in itself. (At least, for those out of shape 30 somethings). It was truly a fun morning and we are already looking forward to next month!

This is It

Michael Jackson Movie 'This Is It' Premiere In Paris

My sis and I saw the movie today. The film is footage of interviews and rehearsals for MJ's anticipated upcoming tour. I truly wish I would have been able to see that concert. Despite the scrutiny that he has encompassed through the years, I was reminded today of his brilliance. I still remember the first time I saw Thriller, Beat It, and Billie Jean on MTV. My posters have long since been removed from my walls but to this day I am still in awe of his talent and I can't help but dance when one of his songs play.

Boo-yeah!

Jake had two Halloween events this year. Dressed as Tigger he attended the Hastings Community Halloween event held on Friday night at the High School. He played games, touched a real Boa Constrictor, and ate pizza. On Saturday we went to Sas and Josh's Halloween party in Hutchinson. They had a great party with fun games, delicious food and drink, and fantastic decor. Well done!
