Easter 2012

 

Celebrating Jesus's resurrection, a lovely brunch (no cooking or cleaning the kitchen), a nap (thank you Grandma!) an Easter egg hunt, and lots of projects accomplished (thank you Grandpa!).  What a fantastic weekend. 

Nathan's first hair cut

Before trimming those cute locks.  Look at his rosy cheeks!  This poor boy is miserable cutting his next tooth.  In fact, since wearing his teething necklace this time around has been worse.  Coincidence?  Who knows.  But the necklace is off for now. 

Handsome boy!  I like his long locks better but it was time.

Sneak peek: Playset

After scoring a great find on Craigslist the assembly of the play set is under way thanks to the help of our "Ben of all trades".

A bit more assembly followed by some sanding and staining and this set will look almost new! 

Hanging out with Gwen

With Aunt Sarah B. off doing a photo shoot, Jacob and Nathan got some play time in with cousin Gwendolyn.  Jacob took the role of older cousin and showed Gwen how the toys for the "over 1" crowd worked and gave her a hand with lunch. 

Visit from Larry, Cindy, Carolyn and Gene

 

Nathan got some extra snuggles in during a visit from Carolyn, Gene, Cindy and Larry.   We recruited Larry to help Scott load up a play set that is soon to be assembled in our backyard.  Pictures coming soon.  It was great to see you guys and thanks for your help Larry!
